A rose is a woody perennial flowering plant of the genus Rosa, in the family Rosaceae, or the flower it bears.

They form a group of plants that can be erect shrubs, climbing, or trailing, with stems that are often armed with sharp prickles.

Most rose species are native to Asia, with smaller numbers being native to North America and a few to Europe and northwest Africa.

A red rose is an unmistakable expression of love. Red roses convey deep emotions - be it love, longing or desire. Red Roses can also be used to convey respect, admiration or devotion.

The flowers of most species have five petals, with the exception of Rosa sericea, which usually has only four. Each petal is divided into two distinct lobes and is usually white or pink, though in a few species yellow or red. Beneath the petals are five sepals (or in the case of some Rosa sericea, four). These may be long enough to be visible when viewed from above and appear as green points alternating with the rounded petals. There are multiple Superior ovaries that develop into achenes. Roses are insect-pollinated in nature.

The sharp growths along a rose stem, though commonly called "thorns", are technically prickles, outgrowths of the epidermis (the outer layer of tissue of the stem), unlike true thorns, which are modified stems. Rose prickles are typically sickle-shaped hooks, which aid the rose in hanging onto other vegetation when growing over it.

Wright Brothers

Wright Brothers are the first human to fly. Against all odds, they ascend humanity to another realm

Wilbur Wright was born on April 16, 1867, near Millville, Indiana, the middle child in a family of five children. His father, Milton Wright, was a bishop in the Church of the United Brethren in Christ. His mother was Susan Catherine Koerner Wright. As a child, Wilbur's playmate was his younger brother, Orville, born in 1871.

Always working on different mechanical projects and keeping up with scientific research, the Wright brothers closely followed the research of German aviator Otto Lilienthal. When Lilienthal died in a glider crash, the brothers decided to start their own experiments with flight. Determined to develop their own successful design, Wilbur and Orville headed to Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, known for its strong winds.

Wilbur and Orville set to work trying to figure out how to design wings for flight. They observed that birds angled their wings for balance and control, and tried to emulate this, developing a concept called "wing warping."

The Wright brothers found the magic formula when they added a moveable rudder, and on December 17, 1903, they succeeded in flying the first free, controlled flight of a power-driven airplane. An extraordinary achievement, Wilbur flew the plane for 59 seconds over a distance of 852 feet.

The Wright brothers soon found that their success was not appreciated by all. Many in the press, as well as fellow flight experts, were reluctant to believe the brothers' claims.

After some time passed,

The brothers went on to become wealthy businessmen, filling contracts for airplanes in both Europe and the United States. Today, the Wright brothers are considered the "fathers of modern aviation."

The reason I choose the Wright Brothers becasue, when humanity doesn't believe them and mock them, they kept researching about aviaton. And against all odds they did it. At first people doesn't believe them, lies they say. But, after searching for success at Europe, they achieve fame. That was the story of the Wright Brothers

Location Description

Universal Studios Singapore

Universal Studios Singapore is a theme park located within Resorts World Sentosa on Sentosa Island, Singapore. It features 28 rides, shows and attractions in seven themed zones. It was a key component of Genting's bid for the right to build Singapore's second intergrated resort. There's two water rides in there, the area is 49 acres long.

The park pas been marketed by Universal Parks & Resorts as "one-of-it's-kind theme park in Asia" and promised that the park would be the only one of it's kind in ASEAN for the next 30 years.

The park itself has 7 themed zone, starting from 'Hollywood' from the entrance, to 'New York', 'Sci-Fi City', 'Ancient Egypt', 'The Lost World', 'Far Far Away', and last 'Madagascar'.

Hollywood is the main entrance area of the park. Its only attraction, a broadway-style theatre, is accompanied by several restaurants and a variety of shopping locations. The zone is filled with Hollywood-inspired architecture and palm trees, including replica of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. There is a total of 4 attractions and entertainment, 2 restaurants and refreshments, and 6 gift shops and retail in this theme zone.

The Second is New York City, its based on the original New York City, during its era of post-modernisation. The zone features various landmarks commonly potrayed in movies including the city skyline, neon lights, facades and sidewalks. This zone also has a replica of the New York Public Library. Special Sesame Street character appearances include: Elmo, Big Bard, Count Von Count, Abby Cadabby, Bert, Ernie, Grover, Cookie Monster, and Oscar the Grouch

 And for the third, is Sci-Fi City,

Sci-Fi City is themed to a supposed metropolis of the future. It is the home of a pair of dueling roller coasters. There are 7 entertainment and outlet in this theme zone. There's an "Accelerator", a Teacups type of ride. A "Battlestar Galactica: HUMAN", a Steel Dueling Seated Roller Coaster. A "Battlestar Galactica: CYLON" same as "Battlestar Galactica: HUMAN" but inverted. And the last ride is "Transformers: The Ride 3D", a 4D Dark Ride Motion Simulator. The rest 3 are all Retails and Cafes.

My Story

     Hi... I guess, *ehem*. Let's restart, Hello everyone! *wave* for starters, my name is Hasbi Huda Maulaya as you can tell, so in this(first) post, I'll tell you all about me(not *ALL* mind you). Why? Well, as the Indonesians always say, "Tak kenal maka tak sayang", so we should get to know each other better.

          It all began when I was in a race against 20 Mil to a 100 Million other competitors, but I was lucky enough to win against all odds. Anyway 9 months later I then born into this new and strange world. I really don't remember much from my childhood days, but when I was 7-8 years old I remember I have a friend from my neighboor, I think his and her names was "Adit", "Aria", "Okan", and "Najla".

          We were like the best of the best of friends. I really enjoy spending the time together, like there was one time I was invited to Okan's house, to play PS2 together, there was also when I invited Aria and Adit to my house and then play some horror games. Man... that was some dark times. Although we are the best of friends it was changed on that fateful day. 

          One day my sister, Okan, Najla, and I want to try to play a skateboard and a bicycle at the same time. So we tied the skateboard to the back of the bike and someone will ride the bike while someone will sit on the skateboard. So it was supposed to be Najla's turn but, being the spoiled little child I am, I told my sister I want to play again. My sister then tell Najla that she should give her turn to me, but Najla doesn't want to give up. It was then it got into a heated argument, Okan and I were just like watching from the sideline hoping it will end. Things got really heated over at my sister's side, they started shouting and pointing at each other. Then coincidentally, there was a spare tire on the side of the road, my sister then pick it up and then she proceed to smack the living daylights out of her. She then proceed to cry and ran back to her house, my sister did that too. Okan and I ran after my sister to try to persuade her into forgiving Najla. But she locked herself in her room shouting that Najla is dumb. After about 10 minutes, we gave up trying to persuade her, Okan got back to his house. After that incident, we grew apart, Aria, Adit, Okan and Najla couldn't be bothered to try to play with my sister and I. I remember they always play with each other while we could only watch them. To this day, I usually see Okan at a mosque, he grew taller while I occasionally see Najla too in front of her house. I don't think my sister have been forgiven by them.
          Anyway that was my childhood story, sorry if it was kinda sad, but it was my most unforgettable memories. Thank you for reading this until the end, comments are always appreciated.
